Andrew Pickup, CEO & President, Wall Street Transcript
Andrew Pickup has worked in the online media industry for 20 years. He is CEO & President of The Wall Street Transcript, the parent of MeetMax, where he oversees the Publishing, Webcasting and Event Services businesses. Prior to TWST, Andrew was President of the AutEx division of Thomson Financial Services, which provided a leading trading system to equity desks. Andrew joined Thomson when it acquired ARK Information Services, a financial data service Andrew started with partners in 1989. His early career was as a management consultant with The Boston Consulting Group. He has an MBA from Columbia, and an MA in Engineering from Cambridge University.
Carrie Woerner, General Manager, MeetMax Event Services
Carrie Woerner knows events. From 2002 to 2007, Carrie was the executive director of the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation. During these 5 years, she produced an annual conference, developed and coordinated continuing education programs, and ran countless fundraising events. Carrie also knows software and service. Most of her 20 year career has been in the software and services industry, working first for the IBM Corporation and later for Perot Systems Corporation. She has had leadership roles in product development, strategy, marketing, and business development. While at IBM, Carrie managed a software customer briefing program, producing hundreds of one-day events. Having used both custom-built and commercially-available solutions for registration, Carrie brings to MeetMax.com an understanding the software and service needed to make meetings work.
